Communion/Anointing of the Sick

Eucharist

The Sacrament of Eucharist (the Mass and Holy Communion) is the third of the three sacraments of initiation that make a person a full member of the Catholic Church. (The other two are Baptism and Confirmation.) We Catholics believe that, in Eucharist, bread and wine are changed by God into the Body and Blood of Christ. We receive the real Body of Christ in Holy Communion so that, together, we may become the Body of Christ in the world.

Saint Kateri Parish provides preparation for children and adults who would like to share Holy Communion for the first time. For children,  you can contact one of the following Religious Education Centers in our parish.

St. Kateri Religious Education Office 520-622-3681

San Juan Diego Center (Pascua Yaqui Reservation) 520-578-0423

Santa Rosa de Lima/ Richey Elementary 520-207-3154

For adults, please call the office at 520-622-5363 and we will put you in touch with Brother Andres Rivera, S.T.

Anointing of the Sick

This sacrament, the Anointing of the Sick, makes present the healing, restoring power of Jesus at a time when we are at our lowest and most vulnerable.  We gain strength to bear suffering with patience and dignity.  We are reminded that, whatever we face, Jesus walks with us and with those we love.

Please contact our Parish Office to schedule an Anointing at 520-622-5363.  For sacramental emergencies, such as serious illness or death, call 520-791-7774 for a Priest.
